     I was at Waggoner's Gap Hawkwatch on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The
     highlights for the period were: Golden Eagles - 11 (Thursday), 24
     (Friday) & 19 Saturday (sorry I wasn't there); 7 Goshawks on Thursday;
     about 20 Red-shouldered and 200+ Red-tails (one dark morph) each day ;
     and Cooper's, Osprey, Sharp-shinned and Harrier. Sunday was slower
     with lesser numbers and no Goshawks. Except for Ravens, vary few
     nonhawks were migrating. A little further afield, I was at the Duluth
     Minnesota Hawkwatch October 17-24, the highest daily numbers were
     (about): - 1500 Red-tail, 275 Bald Eagle, 10 Golden Eagle, 1000
     Sharp-shinned, 23 Goshawk, 10 Rough-legged, 8 Cooper's, 19 Merlin, 8
     N. Shrike, both Cross-bills (many), 1 Black-backed Woodpecker, 1 Pine
     Marten, 1 Harris' Sparrow & beautiful scenery. Happy birding, Dan
     Eberly
