I understand some people are unable to read the columnar reports 
which I have used in my last three messages so I am repeating my 
sightings for Nov. 3, 8, and 11.  The sites are Westminster Reservoir 
(WR) and Piney Run Park (PR).  The numbers are the totals seen on the 
three dates.

Pied-billed Grebe - at PR 22, 21, 15
Double-crested Cormorants - 1 at WR 11/3
Great Blue Heron - at WR 1, 0, 1.  At PR 2, 1, 1.
Snow Goose - 1 immature white at WR on 11/11
Canada Goose - at WR 1300, 77, 1600.  At PR 600, 600, 1000.
Wood Duck - 4 at New Windsor sewage ponds on 11/8, 1 male at PR 11/11
Gadwall - at WR 0, 1, 0.  At PR 9, 19, 23
Wigeon - 1 at PR 11/3
Black Duck - at WR 0, 7, 5.  At PR 30, 89, 30.
Mallard - at WR 25, 52, 20.  At PR 160, 220, 150.
Shoveler - 1 at WR 11/11
Pintail - 1 at PR 11/3.  1 at WR and 1 at Hashawha on 11/11.
Green-winged Teal - at WR 2, 2, 3.  At PR 2, 1, 2.
Canvasback - 1 female at PR 11/3 and 11/11
Redhead - 1 male at PR on 11/3 and 11/11
Ring-necked Duck - at WR 1, 0, 0.  At PR 157, 109, 130.
Greater Scaup - 3 at PR 11/11
Lesser Scaup - at WR 19, 0, 0.  At PR 14, 8, 6.
Bufflehead - at WR 10, 0, 0.  At PR 65, 14, 6.
Goldeneye - 5 at PR on 11/3
Hooded Merganser - at WR 2, 8, 0.  At PR 21, 31, 20.
Ruddy Duck - at WR 7, 3, 0.  At PR 100, 87, 80.
Bald Eagle - at PR 1 immature (probably 2nd-year) on 11/3, 1 adult 11/8
Coot - at PR 254, 325, 325
Killdeer - at WR 2, 1, 7.  At PR 12, 1, 0.
Greater Yellowlegs - 1 at PR 11/8
Snipe - 1 at PR 11/3
Bonaparte's Gull - 1 at PR 11/8
Ring-billed Gull - at WR 0, 36, 60.  At PR 39, 16, 0.
Herring Gull - at WR 6, 33, 30
Lesser Black-back - 1 adult at WR 11/11

Both the Baltimore and Carroll County bird clubs have  field trips to 
Piney Run on Saturday, Nov. 14 meeting at 8AM at the park gate.
