Hi All: Oh yeah, it`s Friday the 13th, but nothing out of the ordinary has happened to me today. 1 1/2 hrs. @ TP this am between 9:30 & 11:00 am, no hawks, zero, zip, nada. Mostly I stood around and gossiped with Charlie Gant, who also showed up. Of interest were the large numbers of Cedar Waxwings, easily 500, perched in treetops along edge of the meadow, and sporadically taking flight. One confused cormorant flew over, in company with 5 Tundra Swans, the latter doing their unique vocalization. The corm. was doing his best to blend in, but he didn`t quite make it.
