This morning, 11/26/98, between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Tyler Bell and I saw the pair of Cinnamon Teal at Eastern Neck NWR in Kent County, MD. The birds were on the north and east side of the hump-backed wooden bridge just before entering the refuge. We parked about 1/10 mile beyond the bridge and looked toward the bridge. The birds were not visible from the bridge as they swam around the reeds and were often not visible for prolonged periods of time. The adult male was in full breeding plumage.
