Sandy Zimmerman and I discovered a female King Eider in Delaware Bay adjacent
to Port Mahon road at 1:50PM Saturday, November 28.

The bird was bathing and preening for about ten minutes, sixty yards off
shore, in very good light. We watched it in a scope for fifteen minutes. It
was between the fishing pier and the bait shack. After finishing with its
activities it slowly swam out to sea.
