Hello all......

I know this is rather late. That is because I only have access to a computer
at my office. I know. Get out of the dark ages.

At Hains Point on Saturday there were four birds of interest. Observers were
Joan Boudreau, Bob Abrams, and myself. An adult male merlin was seen four
different times, four different locations. Same Bluejack everytime.
Sightings were afternoon and evening.

There was also and adult winter graellsii lesser black-backed gull, seen in
the canal at about 7:45am.

2103 laughing gulls flew past the point between 3:30 and 5:00pm. These birds
all came out of the Anacostia River, and passed the point, headed down river.

With them was one adult winter, common black-headed gull. Seen about 4:55pm.
It was in a flock of about 80 laughing gulls.

Again I apologize for the tardiness.

Take care,
