Subject: Bombay Hook CBC
The Bombay Hook count is on Sunday, December 27th. The weather is
looking
real good and the tides will be perfect. We are running into unexpected
bad luck recruiting birders for the refuge. A number of people are either
sick or have family commitments. If you are free and would like to help on
the count, please let me know. Cost is only $5. I will be out on Saturday
doing the Wilmington count. Just leave a message and I'll respond in the
evening.
Every year I have great expectations. There are lots of Snow Buntings,
American Pipits, and White-crowned Sparrows in the area. Last week there
was still a moorhen at Finis Pool. Hopefully this year will be our record
year.
