Thanks Marshall and others for posting the results of local CBCs -- is it my imagination, or are far fewer of these being reported on Mdosprey or VON this year? Perhaps it reflects that relatively few "goodies" are being found, but it is still interesting information. So CBC participants, after you have thawed out and eaten that chili, let us know the highlights! (The weather report for this weekend looks a bit grim, but I hope the Sugar- loaf Count will go well -- was out scouting a few days ago, and everything is pretty well frozen in. We did manage to find a Horned Lark flock with one Snow Bunting, but no Longspurs seen or heard. This cold may well bring them in, however...) Cheers, Gail Mackiernan
