Not likely feeding young.  The egg date starts on March 30.

Funny you should all mention unusual Mockingbird behavior.  I 
recently received the following:

I have been feeeding birds in Beltsville for many years. I
feed the Mockingbirds raisins. I usually don't get much activity 
in the winter. For the last few days a male and female have 
been beging at my back door. This is the routine in spring. 
Could they be feeding babys now?

Any comments???
