ospreyers,

this usually DC-bound birder (forced to subsist on whatever pacfic loons,
virginia rails, and oporornis warblers happen to come our way!) is headed
off to the wilds of Wilmington DE this sunday, and Chesapeake Beach,
Calvert Co. next sunday for socializing, but able to sneak off for about 3
hrs each day.

anyone been to bombay hook/little creek recently, and seen anything of
note? any suggestions for spots to bird within an hour of chesapeake
beach? my only real wish-list species are short-eared owl and little
gull, otherwise just variety of winter birds or anything unusual.

I appeciate any advice.

robert
