Visitors center etc -Reply

Marshall and I tried to get into the landfill on Wednesday am and were told at the office that you need
special permission to get in. This requires calling ahead, wearing a hard hat, etc. That implies to me
that they really do not want birders in the landfill. I do not have the landfill number here today but will
look for it and post next week if I find it. If anyone wants to set up a trip, please call ahead for permission
then let the birders know.

In preparing for a trip to see the white-winged gulls... Does anyone know when the PWRC visitors center
opens on Saturdays? Also, does anyone know when the landfill closes that is near
