Is there a "push" list, or if not, then a website for birders in
this area, where I could properly and appropriately post something like
the following? Would you like to bird El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve in
Chiapas? My companion and I signed up for a tour advertised in Winging
It. The dates are February 17-27, 1999, with possibility of extension to
other highland Chiapas locales. So far, surprisingly, we are the only
participants, although El Triunfo may be the finest unspoiled cloud forest
in Mexico. See e.g. Ro Wauer's "A Naturalist's Mexico", for its birdlife.
I would be pleased to hear of any interest, by private E-mail to me, or
directly to the organizer at birddoc@gil.net, or his phone (305) 895-0607.

The organizer is Bird Bonanzas, Inc., a for-profit company, whose
principal is Dr. Ira Joel Abramson. I sent this to the listowner of
BirdChat for an advance ruling, and she said it would be impermissible
advertising. BirdChat has very strict rules.
I am a life member of MOS, also a member of Northern Virginia Bird
Club, ABA, Aud. Naturalist Soc., Neotropical Bird Club, etc., and an
active officer/director of New Columbia Audubon Society.
I would be most grateful for any E-mailed advice.
