Next Tuesday, February 2, Eirik A.T.(Rick) Blom will be the guest speaker at the Baltimore Bird Club's regular monthly meeting at Cylburn Mansion. A Maryland birder and author, Rick's credits include consultant to the National Geographic Society for its "Field Guide to the Birds of North America", and Project Coordinator of the "Atlas of the Breeding Birds of Maryland and the District of Columbia". A regular contributor to "Bird Watcher's Digest" and "Backyard Bird News", he is also the researcher and author of the "Skimmer", a monthly newsletter of bird news for the serious birder. Rick's presentations are always informative, up to date, and humorous. Tuesday's talk is called "Bird Watching's Top Ten Myths." The evening will begin with refreshments at 7:30, and the talk will begin at 8:00. The meeting is open to all. Please join us for an interesting and enjoyable evening.
