Ospreyers: For those of you who come to check out the Kelp Gull, please keep an eye out on how far into the river the bird ranges when it flies. The Calvert county line is half way across the river. This would be the equivalent of the Slaty-backed Gull flying into Cecil County when it's on the opposite side of the cement wall. And for you really devoted county listers, Charles and PG counties are only a few miles upriver and that's where it took off last night when Phil Davis was watching it! -- Good Birding! The probability of a given Tyler Bell event occurring is inversely mailto:bell@say.acnatsci.org proportional to its desirability. California, MD http://www.audubon.org/chapter/md/smas/
