Ospreyers,

The Kelp Gull was quite cooperative this evening when I arrived at about =
5:30 p.m. The bird sat perched on the pole next to the parking lot at =
the Sea Breeze Restaurant and sat quite nicely on the post for a good 10 =
minutes of close observation. The bird flew over to the pier behind the =
restaurant and remained for another 7 or 8 minutes before flying across =
to Calvert County when it finally disappeared from view. The bird's =
prediliction for restaurant parking lots might draw it over to Stoney's =
Restaurant on Broome's Island in Calvert (there is also a seafood =
packing house neaby), certainly a place worth checking if it deserts its =
St. Mary's haunts...
