2nd CALL FOR PAPERS: The 1999 annual meeting of the Virginia
Society of Ornithology will be held at Tyson's Corners,
Northern Virginia on 7-9 May, 1999. A paper session will
held on Saturday afternoon, May 8. VSO members, professional,
amateur and student ornithologists are invited to present
appropriate scientific research or study projects. The paper
session will begin at 1:30 p.m. Each speaker will be allowed
20 minutes for his/her presentation. Travel and expense
awards are available for students presenting papers. Contact:

who might be interested. The tentative deadline for abstracts
is April 1, 1999.
