Sam Dyke (from Salisbury) just called, and told me he had a single male
"Eurasian" Green-winged (=Common) Teal in a flock of about 750 "USA"
Green-winged Teal at Deal Island WMA in Somerset County this morning
(Thursday, 02/25/99).
The birds were in the "big water" (the large open area of the
impoundment to the left of Riley Roberts Road after emerging from the
woods).
