Sandgates, MD Kelp Gull update, 2/26/99

The St. Mary's County, MD Kelp Gull was present at
10:30 this morning, Friday, February 26, 1999, but had
been there for a while (fide Michael O'Brien). Clifton
was feeding it chicken this morning!
The Kelp Gull has been present daily since first
identified on Sunday, February 14, 1999. It has been
seen from dawn to dusk every day except Thursday,
February 18 when it flew off at 3 p.m.
