Darius, I saw my life Rock Sandpiper on the rocks below Bodega Head, Sonoma County, California in September of last year. Bodega Bay has the advantage of being a great all-around birding spot (great shorebirds at nearby Doran Park) as well as one of the most beautiful spots on earth.
