I'm planning a trip to Newfoundland at the end of June, and have a target
list of mostly boreal species. Can anyone give me an idea of where on the
island to best find the following birds:

Arctic Tern
Common Murre
Thick-billed Murre
Spruce Grouse
Rock Ptarmigan
Willow Ptarmigan
N. Hawk Owl
Three-toed Woodpecker
Black-backed Woodpecker
Gray Jay
Boreal Chickadee
Pine Grosbeak

coast, and the ptarmigans can be found at Gros Morne. Is this the best
place to look for them?
