 Hi All:
The spring fever was on me this morning, so I was out the door to Elk
Neck Forest to get my Pine Warblers for the season. I was gratified to
find at least 16 of them, singing beautifully. I know as the other
warblers move in, we tend to forget about these guys, but I was
enthralled today, and probably will be every spring. Also got Palm
Warblers for the spring ( 4 ) giving their loud distinctive call note,
and 6 Golden-crown Kinglets. Oh, also 1 Red-tail hawk, and 2 Kestrels
on Mechanics Valley Rd, on my way home.
