Went Birding in Harford County on Sunday, March 28. Spring is here!

Highlights:

Hoadley Road, APG:
Lesser Scaup(100-200)
Greater Scaup(15-20)
Redhead (1)
Ring-Neck Duck (1)
Canada Goose

Leight Estuary Center:
Common Merg
Bonaparte's Gull

Perryman
Green Winged Teal
Blue Winged Teal (3)
Gadwall
Mallard

Spesutie Island, APG
Greater Yellowlegs

Tydings Island, Havre De Grace
Bufflehead
Red-Breasted Merg
Northern Shoveler (2, male and female)
Laughing Gull (Alternate Plumage, 6)
Many Gulls out on the Susq.Flats, including Bonies, Ringers, Herrings,
and Gr Blacks - I did not pick through them.
Ivory-Billed Rails

Conowingo Dam
DC Cormorant (30-50)
Black Duck

I didn't search really hard, and missed Am Wigeon, Hooded Merg,
Goldeneye, Canvasback, and Wood Duck. Granted, Cans and Goldeneyes may
not be easy this time of year, but this could have been an almost 20
duck day! Tree swallows were everywhere!
