Kevin Fehskens and I went birding after school today. We set a personal
record of 51 birds in 3 hours afterschool. Highlights of the trip included an
excellent look at Pine Warbler in Edgewood. It was a lifer for Kevin and a
Maryland bird for me. On the Gunpowder River we found thousands of Scaup
(both species) and a large of Ruddy Ducks. Also in the flock were 1 Shoveler
and 2 Tundra Swans. At Harford Glen we were heard a Barred Owl, saw 3 Green-
winged Teal, a Winter Wren and a Rusty Blackbird.
