Hi!
	The bird might have been singing but I doubt it.  It was late in the 
evening and it just landed on a branch for a minute of two.  Long enough 
for a good look with the bins.  I was looking through the picture widow, 
usually not a barrier to birdsong, though.
	The date was April 6 at 5:30 pm in Phoenix, MD.  Edge of the Loch Raven 
Watershed.

Anne,
	Your posting dated April 7 is very interesting since that is
tomorrow.  A Yellow Warbler on this date is extraordinary though not
unprecedented.  There are only three earlier reports for Maryland, and
two for DC.  Was the bird singing?  What was the real date?  Great
spotting.
