Well, this morning was wonderful! Three+ VESPERS singing, VESPERS posturing, VESPERS feeding on the ground 6 feet from me. Isn't life grand! I went out to check on the shorebirds (that lasted all of 2 minutes) when I came upon the sparrows. A hundred or so SAVANNAHS and then the VESPERS! It was a great morning. There were also a pair of HORNED LARKS that let me approach closely. A couple NRWSwallows were my first this year. LOONS flying over. ...and of course those shorebirds....
