IHi Folks! As part of my work, I review environmental impacts caused by development in Prince George's County. The Bald Eagle nest is on a park owned by the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission. The grading work is part of the National Harbor Project. The US Fish & Wildlife Service has consulted with the US Army Corps of Engineers on the project, because the project has a USACE Permit for wetlands work. There have been some modifications on the grading activity and movement of vehicles on the site to avoid significant impacts to the eagel nest. of the situation, have been consulted, and the developer has modified the work to meet their concerns.
