I saw two Vespers sparrows this morning ( Wed) at 9:45 am near the
intersection
of 632 and 657 ( see earlier messages for directions or email me....)
They were both seen at the first metal gate on the West side of the road.
Staying in the car seems to increase chances of seeing the birds. This
evening around 5:30 I stopped by again on my way home from work and was
rewarded with some excellent views of a single Vesper as it flew into the
middle of the highway and back to the gate several times apparently feeding.
