Sorry for a late report, I was out all weekend for living history event camping at Washington Crossing Historic Park, north of Philadelphia. On Friday late afternoon, I was doing birding for the Bloomin Birdathon at Audubon, and then at 4:55pm, I noticed several hawks flew over headed north. I don't usually do a hawk count in spring. For almost two hours, i counted 60 hawks so far: 1 Turkey Vulture 11 Osprey 28 Broad-winged Hawk 2 Red-shouldered Hawk 1 Red-tailed Hawk 8 Sharp-shinned Hawk 3 Cooper's Hawk 5 Am. Kestrel 1 Merlin That bring a total of 122 for the spring, but I only do fall count where I had thousands of hawks. Kevin Graff Baltimore, MD ggraff@erols.com
