PPG ponds on Sunday (near North Branch) had 7 Double-crested Cormorants and 3 breeding plumaged Horned Grebes. Wood Ducks flying over. Then on the canal at North Branch Ruby Crowned Kinglet Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Blue-headed Vireo Yellow-throated Warbler Louisianna Waterthrush So a few things are beginning to appear in Western MD as well. The earliest thing that I have seen lately was a Black-throated Green in Morgantown, WV on Tuesday April 13th. Good Birding.
