St. Mary's County, MD, Kelp Gull (YES) Update, 4/27/99

In a return to its former pattern, the St. Mary's County, MD, Kelp Gull
was present on the pier behind the Sea Breeze Restaurant at 6:50 a.m. today,
Tuesday, April 27, 1999. Preening vigorously, the Kelp Gull was next to a
Herring Gull.
The Kelp Gull was present on Monday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until at
least 5 p.m. (I stopped in after work, but I don't know how long it stayed
after that.)
