The Baltimore Bird Club's meeting at Cylburn Mansion, on Tuesday, May 4 will feature a Slide Presentation by Gene Scarpulla. HART-MILLER ISLAND: A BRIEF HISTORY THROUGH TIME (1600 T0 2000) Experience the history, ecology, recreational opportunities, and especially the amazing bird life of Hart-Miller Island. Gene's talk will cover the original Hart, Miller, and Pleasure Islands; Hart-Miller Island State Park; and the Hart-Miller Island Dredged Material Containment Facility. Gene, who has been surveying avian and other life forms on the island on a weekly basis throughout the year, is the undisputed expert on this unique Maryland site. The evening, which is open to all, will begin with refreshments at 7:30, and the meeting and talk will begin at 8:00. Please join us.
