Rob, And here I thought I was the only one who has ever birded there! I'm so glad to know that you had also found the grounds of the hospital to be a good place for warblers in May. I've lived in this neighborhood since 1972, but have been keeping track of the birds I see in the hospital woods for only about 6-7 years. I find the best place is the deep ravine close to Jordan Street, although Chestnut-sided seem to favor the area under the power line behind Ivanhoe Street where trees have been topped periodically, resulting in shorter, brushier trees.
