Ospreyers,

I had the North Beach/Chesapeake Beach areas for the May Count =
yesterday.  Plenty of Yellowlegs of both types in
the marsh on Rte 261 at the Calvert/Anne Arundel line as well as some SB =
Dowitchers, Least Sandpipers and a couple of
Solitary Sandpipers.  The best bird in marsh though was a Glossy Ibis, =
the first I've seen in the County other than as a fly-by.

Out on the Bay a Red-throated Loon still in basic plumage, was off-shore =
(across Rte. 261 from the marsh).
Two Lesser Scaup were still hanging around as well.

I hope others had good days of counting yesterday as well!
