Just to keep the records straight for those of you who are
noting same, I have two earlier than previously reported
species...

4/30 A Black-throated Blue Warbler at Marshall Hall by Fred
Fallon

5/6 A Golden-winged Warbler at Oldtown, Allegany, by JB
Churchill

---------

Now for the new entries:

5/7 Roseate Tern OC Inlet Paul O'Brien, Paul Pisano,
Ottavio Janni

Black Rail Oland Road, Fred (flyover) Ditto

Wilson's Warbler Glenn Dale, PG Tom Beal

5/8 Dickcissel Aberdeen Proving Ground, Harf Dave
Webb and Russ Kovach

5/9 Black-billed Cuckoo Rockburn, Ho Co Bonnie Ott,
also at Bowie, PG by Fred Fallon on the same date

5/9 Mourning Warbler Layhill Park Andy Rabin, et al.

This is an additional 6 species, bringing us to 284 + 4
possibles, with a total of 288 species!!! Mississippi MOS still
stands at 286, but no updates since 5/5. Since we really
shouldn't count the possibles, we're nearly neck and neck now!
