The field trips on Saturday morning at the VSO meeting in Northern Virginia tallied 149 species. The Sunday trips added a few species. As soon as we have received all the trip reports I will post the composite list. As far as I know there was nothing outstandingly rare - just the usual Spring migrants - but they all seem to be coming through at once. At Lubber Run Sunday we had both Black-billed and Yellow-billed Cuckoos in the same tree about six feet apart. Great looks. Joanna Taylor Arlington, VA
