I quickly stopped by Lilypons/Oland Road yesterday. Saw one male dickcissel singing; heard another. Nearby, on the plowed (dirt clod-filled) field, a vesper sparrow provided nice looks. At Riley's Lock, 6-8 cliff swallows at the bridge, some flying in with bills full of mud for their nests. The expected willow flycatcher was singing from the Hughes Hollow willows.
