Forgive the untimely addition to a two-week old thread. My life and still only Brewster's Warbler was in the exact same location as Steve Sanford's. This was circa 1978, on a MOS trip with few participants, but including Bob Ringler, maybe Rick Blom, and Pete Webb as I remember. Could it have been Bob's May 28 Brewster's staked out? And is there some sort of nest fidelity operating here, over four or five generations of two species (I understand that Brewster's like the one described by Steve are first-generation crosses), or is the area simply good for Blue-wingeds, so that repeat occurrences of Brewster's are coincidental but not improbable?
