Please post any in formation regarding sightings (or misses) of the Reeve in North Beach from Friday. I am interested in trying for the Reeve on Saturday morning before I head out of town for the weekend, if it is still hanging around. Thanks in advance for the info! Lots of shorebirds including a Reeve. The bird was quite cooperative and provided nice views. When I left at 5:30 PM the bird was still present. I found out from George Jett that Danny Bystrak originally found the bird this AM. In addition to the Reeve there were Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs, Least and Semi-palmated Sandpipers, Dunlin, S.B. Dowitchers, Pectoral Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper, Snowy Egret and Bonaparte's Gulls. To reach this marsh from Rte. 4 take Rte. 260 toward Chesapeake Beach. Take Rte. 261 toward North Beach follow 261 north toward Ann Arundel county. The marsh is on the left side of the road. there is a small dirt road on the right where one can park safely.
