Maybe some of these will help. Bonine and Dramamine(sp) both make me quite sleepy, even the non-drowsy kind. I use wrist bands which are based on pressure point techniques. Available in most marine stores and camping stores. I also eat ginger snaps, and pretzels. You can buy ginger tablets at a health food store and take these. Plus you can chew on ginger root purchased at grocery stores. Make sure you board the boat with a full stomach. EAT! Munch on pretzels during the trip along with ginger snaps. Pretzels with the salt seem to settle the stomach. Also, I have taken lemons and when I fell upset, put the lemon under your nose and sniff. Seems to settle the stomach. I try to stay away from the prescription stuff. Have tried the behind the ear patch but that blurs the vision and cannot see through binocs (so what's the use of the trip) Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of any other help. Good luck :-) and keep your eyes above the horizon. Don't go below deck! Janelle Dietrich Bowie, MD lovewhales@ccconline.net
