Bonnie I just checked Howell and Webb, Birds of Mexico etc. The Tamaulipas (Mexican) would be the species at the Brownsville Dump, not the Sinaloa Crow. When I photographed them they were only called the Mexican Crow. The Sinaloa Crow is endemic to N E Mexico. The Tamaulipas Crow is endemic to NW Mexico. Many authors still consider them conspecific. Like our two common crows, use vocalization to separate the two. Hope this helps. Is this illegal? The fellow is in Texas. Do they have other species there besides fish and american? Bonnie Ott
