I have been using them (yes, plural!) for about two years and like them a lot. They do not last forever -- I tried washing the cleaning pad once it seemed to start streaking instead of cleaning and that does not work very well; time for a new pen when that happens. Also, they cannot handle heavy dirt or anything except fingerprint smudges basically. Thus, my recommendations: get one of those 4" square cleaning cloths (opticians give them with a pair of glasses in many cases) for the heavy cleaning. These last forever and are washable. You can use a lens cleaning solution with these for the really bad cases. For the daily dusting and cleaning, I then use the Lenspen. Scientific? No! Just my experience.
