Sure, it was 100+ degrees out and the bugs were awful in some = places, but I observed about 75 different species, including 5 life = birds. Some highlights include Brown Pelicans, Semipalmated Plover, 2 = Black-necked Stilts (on causeway), both Yellowlegs, a Pectoral = Sandpiper, Gull-billed (on Wildlife Loop after trees), Caspian, Royal, = Forster's & Common Terns and my first Brown-headed Nuthatches. No luck = finding the White-faced Ibis (thanks Jack P.) or Frigatebird. I can't = wait to go back! Andy Rabin Gaithersburg, MD andyrab@wam.umd.edu P.S. If I see anything interesting soon in MD I'll be sure to let y'all = know. ------=_NextPart_000_0094_01BECA4F.915D71C0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN">
