I just got back from my first trip to Chincoteague- what a great =
place! Sure, it was 100+ degrees out and the bugs were awful in some =
places, but I observed about 75 different species, including 5 life =
birds. Some highlights include Brown Pelicans, Semipalmated Plover, 2 =
Black-necked Stilts (on causeway), both Yellowlegs, a Pectoral =
Sandpiper, Gull-billed (on Wildlife Loop after trees), Caspian, Royal, =
Forster's & Common Terns and my first Brown-headed Nuthatches. No luck =
finding the White-faced Ibis (thanks Jack P.) or Frigatebird. I can't =
wait to go back!

P.S. If I see anything interesting soon in MD I'll be sure to let y'all =
know.
