There were two American pipits on Oland road this morning. They were
actually on the road. They flew off to the south. The Dickcissels are
still in the field on the south side of the road.
The field on the northeast corner of the intersection of Oland and Route
85 was cut recently. Unfortunately, there were several pairs of
Grasshopper sparrows, Savannah sparrows and a pair of Dickcissels
nesting in that area.
Despite intense searching for Upland sandpipers, over the weekend and
this morning, none were seen in the area.
