I saw a Marbled Godwit in September 1976 just east of the Kent Narrows Bridge, on the south side of Route 50. That was the first time I had seen that species in Maryland, and so I can remember it even now. That is in the same county as the John Brown Road turf farm, right (I'm not so clear on eastern shore county lines as I am on my godwit, here in the office)? (That is the place Gail and Barry are referring to, right?)
