The cold front that came through last night brought us more than just some
relief from the heat ...

A first year female Canada Warbler was banded today at the Chester
River Research Center in Queen Anne's County.  Also banded was a downy
pine warbler.

Our total for banded grasshopper sparrows in our 200 acre study plots
reached 90 for the summer (June-July), which will hopefully lead to some
interesting research next summer.
