Wormeating warblers nest in western Charles Co. They can be found between Liverpool Point Rd.. and
Smith Point Rd.. along Riverside Road (Rt.. 224). There are lots of Red-headed Woodpeckers as well.
Where did you have the Henslow's Sparrows? Was in along Old Legislative Road in Alleghney Co. and
what time of day?

Does anyone know if Mississippi Kites still occur along the Meherrin River
in southern Virginia, at the NC border? Our British visitor is still looking
for that species, despite a couple of trips to Huntley Meadows (where sightings
seem to have dropped off in the past week).

We have managed to locate a number of his target species, with special thanks
to many internet birders who provided detailed directions to some difficult
species. Right now we are still hoping for a local Wormeating W. (we know they
are around!). Now that the cold front has come through we should see some
early migrants, too...

Cheers,
