	I think it depends on what you want/expect to get from the publication.
My favorite all around is BIRDER'S WORLD. It is a beautiful publication
with informative articles that cover many different subjects. Next is
BIRDING but it is a more technical publication. I like the ID articles
but it is (in my own opinion) not for the novice birder. BIRD WATCHERS
DIGEST is good, a middle of the road publication catering to the bird
feeder/novice but lately seems to be targeting the more serious birder
with good ID and travel aricles. WILDBIRD is my least favorite. I don't
find too much of interest in it but I get it anyway (shows my
addiciton!). THE GOLDFINCH (the Howard county newsletter) is the cream
of the crop. Filled with seasonal reports, great travel articles by club
members and much more- it's well worth getting (even if you don't reside
in HOCO).
