The pond where the red-necked phalarope is (and still was as of 6:30 a.m. Friday) is the first pond on your right as you're headed down to the point, nearly down to the restroom at the end of the point by the lighthouse. The closest parking is at the restroom, and then you'd walk back up the road about a tenth or so of a mile.
