Parker's Creek, Calvert Co: one great blue heron one immature yellow-cr night-heron one juvenile sanderling, one spotted sandpiper, one adult and one first year bald eagle, 3 forster's terns, one royal tern, one ring-billed gull, and four wild turkeys The night-heron was standing with its wings cupped below its belly, as if it were collecting sun, but even at 8:30 am, that seemed unnecessary... As I approached, it rearranged its wings into a more usual posture. Is this a common behavior?? It was in the same area this evening also. sue hamilton 8/13/99> _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Visit http://www.msn.com
