Ah Bob, the critical question is... when it was soaring, did it ever fly into Virginian territory? Barry saw in in DC (definitely -- even with Rt 295 bridge N end) at about 10 am. He also had a distant Black Tern over the hydrilla from the Hunting Creek bridge, and there is a L-B. Dowitcher on mud at Hunting Creek (also S-B Dowitchers and other shorebirds already reported on Mdosprey). Gail Mackiernan
